Bariatric surgery offerings expanded to include LAP-BAND procedures
Posted at November 22, 2007The Center for Weight Management now offers the LAP-BAND® System as an option for patients. This procedure places an adjustable gastric band around the upper part of the stomach which is then filled with saline. This creates a new, smaller stomach pouch that holds only a small amount of food.
